Is it normal to obsessively play words with friends?

I play this game constantly! I broke my wrist almost a year ago and have had several surgeries, so I'm still unable to work at my physically demanding job. The pain was always worse at night, so I started looking for things to do in the wee hours and started playing words with friends...and I'm so addicted to it now! Does anyone here play? Is it normal to be so addicted to this game?

            About a week ago. I dared DannyKanes to say "I feel totally the same way. I think I love you" to the third post down when the new ones were released. He got really lucky. It was just a tall girl talking about her height. :)
