Is it normal to obsess over childrens' drawings?

Become an art therapist and work with children.

To some, your obsession may come off as odd, but I think this is a normal obsession.

Like many here have said, you would work well with art psychology related to young children. I hope you would put your skills to good use, and hopefully there will be fewer people growing up with unnoticed psychological issues.

I love looking at children's drawings too, particularly if they come from children with psuchiatric disorders. Its fascinating to study them and try to imagine what is going on in their minds.

If you are in (or will be going to)college and ever get the chance to, take a Children's Literature class. It is interesting to view/analyze the other side--the psychology of adult artists who draw children's picture books...some very disturbing stuff can be found--most likely a product of the unconscious.

my freind thinks im wierd because in science i drew a morbidly obese woman with no feet clubbing a seal to death. and im a nice person i guess people just get to me =S. and you can also tell alot by childrens stories as they write about things that relate to them and certain apects of their perspectave.

Hmm... My six year old little brother draws pictures of people shooting each other while bombs go off, though he's very sweet and sensitive in person.
