Is it normal to not want your parents to know your bisexuall

Hi there, iam 19 and I like both men and woman. Ian bi but I like girl a bit more then guys. Is it normal if you don't want your parents to know? I tried to tell my mom once and she freaked . She thought it was all of the sudden. I think she still thinks iam str8. Is this normal?

    Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
    And sorry I could not travel both
    And be one traveler, long I stood
    And looked down one as far as I could
    To where it bent in the undergrowth;

    Then took the other, as just as fair,
    And having perhaps the better claim,
    Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
    Though as for that the passing there
    Had worn them really about the same,

    And both that morning equally lay
    In leaves no step had trodden black.
    Oh, I kept the first for another day!
    Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
    I doubted if I should ever come back.

    I shall be telling this with a sigh
    Somewhere ages and ages hence:
    Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
    I took the one less traveled by,
    And that has made all the difference

    Your soul wrote this.

  • Haha random poem... I like that poem but it's not very helpful in this situation lol.

    ANYWAY. Yes, that's normal. I'm sorry though, your parents should accept who you are):

    Good luck<3

    Im bisexual and I also prefer women.I have known this for three years and have two loving (and very supportive) parents yet I can't tell them their only child is bisexual. I have talked about my gay,lesbian,bisexual friends with my mother and she is very supportive of them also but I cannot tell her. (It sounds like she already knows but that is FAR from it)

    Its normal, don't listen to some of these idiots... I'm bisexual and 17, i told my mum and she thinks im attention seeking yet i've been in passionate relationships with both sexes... I dont want my mum to know. My dad does, and he's okay with it, but he makes jokes and its awkward even talking about it with him, i wish he didn't know.

    Yes, but it is so hard to tell them. one of my friends who is a male is also bi as well. I think he likes me but iam not sure. Do you have any tips on how to tell if he dose? And how to tell my parents with out saying it directly to them? One thing I was told is to tell them once I move out and well on my own. Is this the best thing to do?
