Is it normal thats I don't ever want to shower? My hair gets greasy after four or five days and I'll wash my hair in the sink. I wash my naughty bits, pits, and feet every day, but unless I'm going to the doctor, an important event, or other appointment, I will not shower. I will also shower after sex or during my period fairly regularly. My boyfriend is dusgusted by this and thinks its not normal at all, but says I don't stink ever...and he would tell me if I did! Additionally, when I do shower, I am compelled to wear shower shoes regardless of how clean the shower itself is and must put socks or sandals on immediately after drying my feet...I don't feel dirty ever, but I always feel better after actually getting in there, but I HATE TO DO IT-and taking a bath is completely out of the question. Please give me your input, I feel all alone in this. Thanks for any and all commentary here.

    How did you even get to have sex in the first place? Does your partner know about this? It not normal, its gross. Your belly button must be revolting.

    i was like this when i went through a major depression. small steps like washing your hair every 2 days helped get me out of it. its normal :)

    I wouldn't say it's normal because most people take showers everyday, but I'm not one to say it's not normal because I don't shower often myself, only if I'm going out (I'm unemployed at the moment so I don't go out often, only with friends or to events), that is when I shower, but if nobody is going to smell me since I'll be stopping in, why bother?

    I've got to have a shower, 3/4 times a day. I hate the feeling of dirt on my body but that's me.

    Treat your self.. Go out get a nice shower gel,body lotion etc. Put some music on and take a shower ..it is so relaxing and maby you will actually to start liking it. Personally i couldn't live 1 day without showering..

    As a teen I used to hate showers but I can't really remember why because now I love the soothing feeling of hot water flowing all over me. Maybe as a teen I simply wanted to rebel against being told I had to shower more than the act itself.

    You should shower. You could make yourself to bacterial and fungal growth.

    i bath every few days i do not have a shower,
    if i saw someone who did not wash i would give them hints like putting a face cloth and a bar of soap right in front of them. but i understand not wanting to wash all the time.

    Not wanting to shower is a sign of mental illness, perhaps you need help of some kind? Maybe you just don't like showering sometimes I dread it because its so much work and I hate having wet hair but you gotta do it!smelly people are the worse!!

    I like showers(: they make me feel pretty(: get good smelling soap or just time your showers do your quick(: but if you still dnt want to at least your saving the planet by conserving water, good for you(:

    I also was hair and such but my record without a shower (note while none at all have said i smell) is 1 month. Also showering everyday can be bad for the skin...

    The only reason I hate showering is because it makes my hair frizy. And that pisses me off. However I usually shower every other day, unless I know I'm not doing anything.

    I'll say normal. Showering is a pain. I shower everyday except on Sundays.

    I would wait until you see what type of commentary you receive before showing your appreciation.

    I don't really like showering in winter because my bathroom is cold.
