Is it normal to not want to make many erasures on canvas?
I'm a perfectionist and it's to the point where it might be considered neurotic by some people. I hate making the slightest erasures on canvas and it's almost like I want to draw without having to make many erasures. I want the process to be characterized by flawlessness and want to get things right the first time. I believe perfectionism in art is attainable but can be painstaking and a very tedious process. However, I am attracted to the cause which is creating exceptional art characterized by integrity. Indeed perfectionism is a hallmark of my character. Even when I have started drawing something and realize the slightest thing has to be fine-tuned I have a desire to start over and order a new canvas. I've ordered 14 canvases!
