so, I live in America and I HATE it. Everyone is constantly complaining about everything! I want to live in england when I get older but I'm stuck here at the moment and I think I'm going to die! Is this normal?
The Land of the Free?
Really How free is are we. Yes, I know that other places in this world are more opressed than America, but This land is prided from calling itself the land of the free when realy we have some things in this place are illegal. Another reason to live somewhere else is like someone said erlier peole in america can be real dicks.

America has its faults but we are very fortunate in comparison to much of the world. If you want a laid back culture, head to Australia. Australian people really know how to live.

No you live in an awesome global super power. The U.K. is losing jobs especially after Brexit. Europe is getting fucked right now due to multiple reasons. You have a great president Donald Trump and should be very thankful you live in the United States.

America is a mixed bag of really good things and really bad things. There are more good things about America than bad things about it, but the bad things are pretty bad - guns, terrible food, skyscrapers blocking out the view of almost everything, bad government etc.

You're not arrogant yet you claim to have entirely pinpointed a country full of approximately 300 million people to a point that you feel justified in generalizing the entire population. You're so wise and omniscient that you are qualified to make these claims. Yet you're not arrogant. Okay.
Don't get me wrong, I understand why people feel the way they do about Americans. I just wish people would consider the fact that maybe most of us are actually decent people who strongly disagree with certain aspects of American policy just like the rest of you.
If you focus on all that is negative in any place you live, then that is all you will see. LOOK for something positive. When you have everything you want at your disposal, you tend to take it for granted.

America is the place where everyone wants to be at last once in their life.You should be happy that you live in such a country full of great opportunities in fact its the most powerful country in the world.Its already 2 years I am struggling to get visa to the USA.But anyway if you dont like it move on and live happily wherever you feel yourself comfortable.Good luck
go to England, won't be much different. It's pretty much human nature to find something to complain about. I mean, some people don't, but alot of us just search for something we can complain about. In my opinion, if you have good ideas on how to fix these things, or at least good reason to complain about them, it helps define you as a person.
i mean, I do agree with you that alot of people do complain TOO much. But, I wouldn't leave because of it.
But, honestly, I think this is totally normal. And feel free to go to England if you'd like, but please ignore the people who are saying "Go no one gives a crap". Those people are rude, and I assure you there are plenty of people who will care. : )
