Is it normal to not want to have friend and physical avoiding others

Well here is a new question. I have had no friends so far in my life and suffer from social anxiety to the point where I physically avoid being around people in public. I don't have a problem talking to people online due to the internet acting like a mask. So is that a normal and a healthy thing for someone to just want to be left alone for the rest of their life. The reason why I am asking this is knowing humans are social creatures and that I have read multiple cases of people going bat shit crazy from being alone for extended periods of time.

There will always be someone who likes or loves you the way you are. And I doubt you wouldn't smile :)

I avoid smiling because whenever I smile it does not look natural and looks forced

That's because you're conscious of smiling. Just don't put too much thought into it. If you're enjoying someone's company, your body will transmit that message naturally, not your mind.

  • Same, but I don't think it's exactly normal.
