Ok your told you're getting a gift and rushed through the store by an impatient person who is basically saying no to your choices because they don't match their taste . The person is grouchy the whole time then you get a well nobody can say I didn't get you anything now and you're wondering who?
Is it normal to be creeped out by this?

    Well in that case it's just fuckin' rude. Especially since they're showing their lack of giving a damn right in front of you. Otherwise, I wouldn't care. I'm not above getting a candle or a body wash I don't like.

    in this situatation i would say yes, because its a gift to you. but i have to say that many times i kept a gift i didnt really like out of its the thought that counts, for the person or whom ever decided that they care enough about you to get you something even if you dont like it. and that is usually enough for me some of the things i had gotten i discovered that i ended up liking them in the end cause i thought about it handled what ever it was and well what do ou know i found that i like something new
