Is it normal to not wanna bone with the roomates in ear shot?

My bf and I have had this argument since the begining. Layout of his apartment: My bf gets the living room and his roomie gets the only bedroom. BUT the wall separating the their rooms doesn't connect to the ceiling. SOOO his roomie can hear us have sex. This make me nervous and uncomfortable, so much so that I can't even focus on the sex. Is this normal and is there a solution?
And I can not get him to relocate. That ship has sailed.

Tell your boyfriend to tell his roommate to go buy a pizza or something. Then lock him out until your wildest sex fantasies are fulfilled >:)

Its very much more complicated than that. I live in a huge studio apartment with one other person and my bf's ex roomie. Thay don't get along very well.

U are just being considerate, no one wants to listen to other ppl have sex its gross. I bet if he asked his roomie to leave for a bit the roomie would lol

I'm a girl and I totally know how you feel. I think it should be private, and I don't get how men just don't seem to care!! It's normal that you have standards. I say starve him until you can have some peace and quiet. Also, get roomie out!! Lol Geezus, I bet he understands. Get your bf to man up and go over to him and be like "Hey bud, can you *aherm* step out for a bit?" GL

Come up with a compromise. Tell him if he wants to make love, that it should be in private, and his roommate should leave for a couple of hours.

OP...you can't be any more than 18 or 19 MAX! It's sex...the vast majority of is have it...I bet if you two fuck obnoxious loud for an obnoxious amount of tjme the roommate will either then the volume on the tv up incredibly loud or leave.
On a sidenote, my roommate and his girlfriend fuck in his room while I'm in the living room...they don't seem too bothered by it...I don't really care myself. I'm not going to go to my room just because he's knockin the boots and they don't expect me to. We are both almost 30...we know what grown folks do in bed.....I mean we have a 4 bedroom house but still....I'm sure he has heard me too many times....I only try and be quiet when his son is here and across the hall LOL! Thank god he's a heavy sleeper!

Why not just wait until the roommate is gone, or MAKE him go.
If your friend wants to do it, he better sends him off someplace.
Alternatively, hotels, your place, a car on a parking lot, ...

seriously, be creative a bit for the solutions, or get into it.
I love such a setup, when i know someone else can hear me, but it's fully legitimate for me to have sex right where i am. No curtains and open bedroom windows just for that.
Now i know you may tick completely differently, but often, one is opposed to something until you mentally try to let yourself "fall" into it. Be loud. Moan. Know that his roommate gets sexually excited about you as well. That you are desired not only by the men in you, but his friends as well. Why hide your joy or excitement, it's your full right to have sex and enjoy it! Scream your joy out into the world when you come. If you are more the silent type, just BREATHE loud, make sure to MAKE noise, somehow. Don't even worry about wether you actually come or not, but focus on the "act". Since you _ARE_ doing it anyway, reading from your description, you may as well try and see it in a different way.

    5 options
    1. wait until the roommate is gone
    2. get a hotel
3.tell your man no sex util he gets his own place
    4. have sex at your place
    5. get a new man

Well, who wants to hear their roomie and his gf having sex? I think your feelings about being nervous are natural and normal. If your bf wants to bone, why not do it at your house? Or at a motel? Or when the roomie is out of the house?

Exchange schedules. If the guy is a shut in invite people over that would help him get out.

Why dont you just have sex at your house, or when the roommate isnt there? Or in the bathroom with the door locked? Or fill in the gap between the wall and ceiling with some cheap soundproofing foam? Start thinking like a man instead of a woman and come up with some actual solutions for gods sake.
