Is it normal to not trim your pubic hair? I am a girl, and 18 years old. I know that people can shave or wax or trim. I've tried shaving, and it just didn't work for me, and I cannot really trim it so that it is even, and I don't like looking like an uneven mess. I am considering waxing so that it is gone, because I don't want to be embarrassed when I drop my pants and it's not normal. Also, if you get waxed, I've heard of people only waxing some parts and leaving other areas? What is best? But most importantly, is it normal to do nothing?

I guess I'm interested in what girls do and what guys think.

    I say to do whatever makes you more comfortable. I've been with women who were shaved bald, trimmed, and who had a full bush. From a visual opinion, I cant say one way is more attractive than another. Hoever, I love giving oral to my lovers, and I prefer them shaved or trimmed for that. What didnt work for you with shaving? The regrowth, itchiness, or broke out afterwards? All of those things could be attributed to how you did it or what you used. Im sure most women here can attest to me saying to use a 4 bladed razor if you can, and I say to use shaving cream for it - not gel. Thats how i shave myself, and how I've shaved several of my partners/lovers in the past. All of them say i do a better job of it than they did. Which could be true due to my position when I'm shaving them - a lot easier to see what I'm doing from between their legs than them looking down ;-) That and if i can get my balls shaved smooth, getting a pussy smooth is a piece of cake.
    In the long run it boils down to what YOU want. To trim it and get it even (assuming you mean length, not shape) use an electric trimmer with a guard on it. They work good too if you just want to trim it back from your pantilines too.

    I shave it bald and find my bf likes it best especially when he gives me oral and so do I it feels better in my panties. I say shave because it hurts less and costs less plus you don't have to be uncomfortable because someone else has to wax you unless you wax yourself but that costs a lot so I would just shave. :)

    I don't like getting hair in my mouth when giving oral sex. Makes me gag and I'm sure nobody wants to hear that when getting some oral loving. Trimmed or waxed to be gone is what I prefer.

    It's up to you.
    There are plenty of men who love women with natural pubic hair. Many enjoy all forms of body hair.

    No way. Bush is sexy. Women who shave look like little girls. I have a man bush and am proud of it

    Shave it all or trim it, but don't leave it long - that's really 70's.

    I'm sure there's guys out there that like a bush but i find i am more comfortable with the hair gone. I know my bf definitely prefers the hair gone as well. A bush is gross in a swimsuit too.
