Is it normal to not think being nude is bad?

Humans began covering their bodies with animal skins to protect themselves from the elements. I'm not going to walk around naked in the freezing ass cold. No thanks. Wild animals, can walk around "naked" because they evolved in a way that enables them to deal with extreme hot and/or cold weather. We are not equipped for this. Most of them are covered in fur and their body chemistry differs from ours. Some also have a lot of body fat to help keep them warm.

That's just the primary reason. We could go into sanitary reasons, sexual reasons, etc. Also, we should think about how unpleasant it would be to see certain people walking around nude. Ick...

Being nude in certain situations can be a bad thing. Like if you were a cook at a restaurant. Not everyone practices good hygiene sadly. Even if it was okay to just walk around the park nude you'd have to deal with perverts who creepily stare or make lewd comments. Not to mention those who would take it a step farther and possibly attempt rape. That's just the world we live in. However, just being nude around your house can be satisfying and even give you a sense of freedom even if it just in the safety of your home.

Its normal but i guess they protect us in some ways like weather and not getting raped or laughed at for imperfections

Eh, the only problem I have with nudity is winter time. Come summer and I would honestly rather strip down and take a long naked dip in the swimming pool.

There are certain situations where clothes come in handy, but it would be nice if people where more comfortable being nude around each other. I vote normal.

I feel ya, I grew up in a strict Christian home. I was given mixed signals when it came to sexuality, but overall in our culture, when women publicly expose themselves in whatever light, they are labeled whores. I think society is moving toward reducing such heavy ideals on women. I'm a big Lady Gaga fan, because her main message is to get our society to socially accept all aspects of sexuality in what is considered normal. After all, all connotations placed on sexuality are of human invention. Hope this makes you more confident in being your natural self :)

There's nothing wrong with being nude. Everyone's born naked and everyone's naked underneath their clothes, but there are concerns with being nude. Being nude could make groups of people venerable towards others. Some people should NEVER EVER be naked!!! Clothes provide protection against the element and unwanted attention. I prefer having clothes on at all times. To me, unless you're in a nudist colony, nudity is something you display on/in the privacy of your home. Whether you are alone or with someone you love. I wouldn't be able to live in a society where everyone is supposed to be nude. I would be extreme upset about it.
