So I live in a house w/ 4 couples, me and 3 other girls. The 3 other girls in my house gave told me that they don't shower for the whole duration of their periods. Now...that seems really disgusting to me. I shower everyday when I'm on my period, sometimes twice. So I want to know what other girls have to say about this? Is this normal?
You'd know from the terrible smell if they never showered during their period. Maybe they were just jacking with you and meant that they bathe rather than shower? That's more comforting than standing up- eases the suffering.
Well every time one of their doors opened the whole house would stink so between rotting food/ gingivitis/b.o/ or anything else they managed to keep in their rooms I wouldn't distinguish the smell lol. And baths? No way in hell...my fiancé and I had our own bathroom, thank god, with a shower stall and I was real sick once so I took a cool bath in their bathroom...I wasn't in there 5 mins and the mold and pubic hairs CHASED me out x.x not to sound TO rasist but they were all dirty Mexicans x.x... It just boggles my mind that females wouldn't wash old BLOOD off of their bodies!!! Why bother changing underwear if u don't wash?! God knows if they even did that! Lol
Well let's just say those couple's sex life is lacking to say the least lol
That's absolutely disgusting. I did something similar once when I was on my period and the lack of showers made me become disgusted at myself. During those days, I didn't leave my house, but it's still gross. I didn't bathe because I was feeling very depressed, but I doubt that's the case here. How do their significant others feel about that? I think it's time for a intervention.
:/ Eew... I'm not uppity about getting a little dirty, but I shower at least once a day when I'm on the rag. Helps you feel cleaner while your vag is puking its guts out. If I'm gonna feel pretty nasty for the duration of that week, I at least want to minimize the discomfort as much as possible.
Plus hot bath when you're cramping and feeling shitty is so relaxing. <3 Fun fact ladies, generally you can be in water just fine and the water pressure keeps you from bleeding more than a dribblet, making period baths a clean experience :D
Cuz during that time u get lazy from the cramps and not matter how many times you shower that nastiness doesn't go away so might as well wait until u can smell and be clean again when the per ends. Normal
No they r totally serious! I didn't even tell them I think it's gross cause i don't want them to feel bad! An they're all sizes, 1 is super skinny, 1 is average and 1 is quite obese! X.X
Not showering that week is not normal, it's gross! I think they're fucking with you.
