Is it normal to not remember names after working out?

After working out today I suddenly couldn't remember my dogs or husband's name. I still remembered my sister's name, but had a hard time saying the words light and fan. Everything was back to normal within an hour, I had some vomiting and have had a persistent headache on the left side all day when I am not normally prone to headaches. between 45 and 50 yo f, have worked out on a regular basis, in good health, not heart problems, never happened before. Not sure if this is something to report to the doctor

  • Are you sure you're staying hydrated enough prior to and during your workouts?
It's not normal, especially if it only started happening recently, so you should probably see a doctor about it.

I say to worry about it. My mom just had a stroke after a month of bad headaches, slight vision issues, memory issues, hearing things wrong and then one day she just hit the floor. And she's only 44. Go to a doctor. That's not normal

I'd say not to worry about it right way, but file it away at the back of your mind. If you find yourself getting more and more forgetful about everyday things, you might want to contact a doctor then. For now though, I think it's nothing to worry about yet.

It could be directly related to your workout, and you were pushing yourself too hard and not enough oxygen got to your brain. That would probably be a sign you were pushing yourself too hard.
