Is it normal to not move on after 2 years of break-up

I have broken up with my ex in 2010. I think I still have a thing for her. Whenever I tried dating other girls who are much more prettier than her, I just get bored of them and ditch them as soon as possible. Will getting back with my ex solve the problem?

dude, you need to accept that she isn't 'the one', and it just wasn't meant to be, and move on. and stop thinking about her, if that's what it takes, the feelings should fade in time. this isn't healthy.

Sometimes its hard to move on after you have given everything in that relationship!

Think of it this way. You are putting (and wasting) even more time on the relationship at the rate you are going. I think if you tried dating her again though, it might help you move on. You'll probably remember things about her that weren't so great, or she won't be great anymore which would help loads in the moving on department. If she is as great as you remember, then awesome! But I highly doubt she's all that. You have to wait until someone special comes along and makes you forget all about her.

i know exactly what you mean. but there is absolutely no point in trying to hold on to what once was, that will never be again. and don't tell yourself but MAYBE. no, there's a reason it didn't work out, and accept that she isn't the one you for you, you'll find someone else, i guarantee you. the first step is to quit thinking about her, quit comparing all other girls to her, completely forget about her [for now, until you can get over her, and move on]

I know that time is the best healer but I already had 2 years and it was of no use:(

I say give it another try and see how it goes, it may not work out but at least then you'll know and it may be even better than before, people can learn a lot in 2 years. Good luck
