    My dad said he was going to commit suicide and kicked me out of the house. He hasn't and honestly I was slightly disappointed.

    My dad can go get severely beaten up for all I care.

    my dad has been verbally abusive my whole life and i dont say i hate him because hes my father but i dont like him. its hard to like someone who has been mean to you your whole life.

    normal. dads are usually the tougher parent, sometimes they cramp our style. normal to get annoyed with them - its a growing phase.

    If your dad is super mean and treats you like crap all the time then yes it is normal to hate him... I haven't spoken to my father since I was 18 and that is after I ended up punching him and stuff
