Is it normal to not like when people are looking at you?

Im a girl and i've noticed that when i go to public places people sometimes look at me. its like a blank stare. I hate it. It makes me feel weird. like im naked or something. I really dont like being in public.

The other day i was walking the halls of my school and these two girls were looking at me. I really dont know why. Is it normal that I hate when people look at me?

Wear a T-shirt that says "If you're reading this then I advise you to look away now as this sentence gives me just long enough to close the distance on you and jab my finger in your eye."

On the back should be printed "Oops! Too late"

Although most people won't see that as you walk away because they'll be suffering the effects of eyefinger.

lol, no, I just made it up, but if there's enough interest, I might think about getting some printed.

Or you're free to print one yourself if you want. I'm not precious about my words. :)

I was thinking of making a shirt that said "Trust me I'm not sexist... people are just irritating or humans just suck". Well something along those lines. My brother and I were talking about that one time except his would say "Trust me I'm not racist". lol. It probably won't happen though, I'm really not that awful.

There is always something to complain about both sexes and other races or just joke about, well the nasty people anyways. ha

Hehe, you could get one that says "The cheese stands alone" and the only people who'd get it would be people who know you from IIN. If I ever see anyone with a T-shirt like that, I'm going to ask them if they're you.

Hmmm, although if I go up to someone and say, "Hello, are you you?" they'd probably say yes.

  • Happens to me a lot, but I don't caremuch about it. I dress classy, so I stand out from the crowd in public places, and I understand that may be the reason for the stares.

Perhaps it's your style/clothing. If you don't want stared at, don't wear things that stick out.

      I agree.

I normally dress classy too. It's nice dressing that way; I prefer that style.

If they want to stare go ahead and stare... I'm just not going to be dumb and stare back.

Well if they make eye contact with you and keep staring without saying anything...yeah, that's pretty creepy. I don't blame you for hating it. xD

Here, if we make eye contact with anyone staring we just say 'hi' - no big deal, they don't mean any harm.

Unless it's the haters in the bar, who stare and whisper, but then ... I still say hi to catch them off guard.

Well if it's a blank stare, then they might be lookin at you without really 'looking' at you. If this makes you uncomfortable then either dress inconspicuously or don't look at people so you won't notice them looking at you.
