I just don't like it! And people write me off as someone who doesn't know how to have fun because of it.

Forty-five words:
Ugh, I hate mixed drinks. Go to hell dappled. But if you really want a gateway to the magical world of alcohol, one of those neon green booze-infused candy smoothie just might be your ticket. Personally, I'm a man of refined craft beer and tequila shots.
I clicked no but I meant yes! Everyone knows alcohol tastes like balls. However it makes me irresistable to women, an awesome driver, and an instant comedian. I think I will keep drinking.
Alcohol is nasty at first. Its just a taste that you have to have to get used to. I suggest starting off with beer. Or if you really like sweets go with a flavored snaaps
Let it grow on you and don't worry. Soon you like it just like a normal person.
I love me some Yager. The worst drink I've ever had was cheap coconut flavored vodka.
I don't like the taste. When I did drink I had a mindset of "If I'm drinking, I'm drinking to get drunk. Where's the hard liquor?"
Then I developed a taste for rum n coke. Those were very drunk times.
If you want taste, drink coca-cola, alcohol is more to have fun. If you're a girl, drink cocktails, if you're a guy, try beer first, and build your way up to whiskey.
Good thing is, there are a million different kind of alcohol with a million different flavors. I hate a lot of alcohols, for example tequila, most vodka, clear rum most of the time, but there is other kinds like "white Russians" that can make vodka drinks delicious! Also beer, wine coolers, wine, champagne, liqueurs, there is something out there that will please everybody!
Oh man you got me in the mood for some Blue Moon or a glass of wine.
But yes it's normal. It always pissed me off when people would say that to me when I never drank alcohol. Come on this is underage drinking; well at the time it happened to me. But as I got older the more I liked the different kinds of alcohol plain or added into things. But I really did start drinking at the age of 16. My mom has always loved wine and I had my first glass at that age.
People call me old because I go for more wines and ales than anything else nowadays.
And no, I'm not an alcoholic. :)
I love wine coolers(?) Such as..Smirnoff ice and all those flavors they have. It's like 1% alcohol(exaggerating, but it does have a very low alcohol content). Mike's hard lemonade, etc.
Strong alcohol is gross though. I don't get how people won't take cough syrup or eat their vegetables but they'll down a bottle of gin with no problems. Smh.
I like wine for its benefits, but that stuff is bitter as hell! People deserve medals for being able to stand it. How do the French stand it? Is it because it's part of their diet and they've grown accustomed to it's bitter taste?
Beer. I remember having a small sip when I was about 5 or younger. That stuff was disgusting. I'd take wine over that any day!
But let's think about why it's so bitter. It's fermentation. Wine is fermented grapes that have aged god knows how long and were crushed by people's nasty feet.
Beer is fermented wheat. It's absolutely normal that you don't like the taste.
Yeah, it's why I haven't drank (minus a few beers) since I was a teenager!
It's a bit strong tasting, but it's an acquired taste. But to each their own. You don't have to drink to have fun.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the taste. I like weed more anyway so whatever.
