Once. It was the best feeling of my life.
Im sorry yours wasn't the same.
You shouldn't give up on love though. It's not easy to find but when you do, it really is amazing (in my opinion).

Also, those people you pitty aren't aware you pitty them and im pretty sure it wouldn't affect them in anyway. I wouldn't waste your time on that.

I never said love is everything. It is a part of life though. You're issue is you perceive it as a negative part of life. The reasons behind why you do that are yours and yours alone.

Damn i thought i was the only one. I feel the same exact way! When i see guys with their girls, i laugh and feel sorry for them. Ive tried the whole love thng, and yeah i was in love before but the whole realtionship thing is not for me. I'll admit it gets lonley sometimes but i rather be lonley then go thru all the drama that comes with realtionships! I'ma DIE a Bachelor!

Love is a wonderful feeling, but...
Not all couples truly love each other. They're just in a relationship due to lust, or for fun. They don't really deeply care for each other.
Sometimes it's so obvious that it pisses me off to see it.
Especially when someone I care about gets into a relationship that I can clearly see is destined for failure.

My brother, and one of my friends just went through bitter break-ups. In both cases, I could tell that there was no love and the relationships were destined for failure. I warned them, but they didn't listen. A few months later, the inevitable happened.
People are like that. They mistake lust or fun for love, despite how blindingly obvious it is to others. Only one day when they truly experience love for the first time will they realise how stupid they were.

I hope to never end up in a relationship like that.
I would hate myself afterwards for all the time I wasted on a person that didn't deserve it.

The same goes for crushes. Crushes are usually just a temporary surge of emotion caused by some event that often gives us an impression of a person that is out of context with who they really are. Very seldom do they withstand the test of time. One may often find that his/her crush changes or turns out very different that they thought that person to be and that they are no longer desirable.

I use to think I didn't like the feeling of love but then I digged deep and saw it wasn't love that I didn't like the feeling of... It was anxiety and the obsession over another person that I didn't like the feeling of. Love is suppose to be a very wonderful, joyous feeling and pure. If it hurts or it gives you anxiety then its probably not love that you are feeling. I think its gross when I see couples tongue kissing and engaging in sexual activity in front of everyone. That is gross but thats not love that I am witnessing that is lust at its finest. My question to you, is do you ever want to BE loved? Have you ever had someone love you unconditionally? Have you experience love for and from your family? Your parents? Or did you lack love in that field as well. Maybe this "love" that you are trying to run away from the most is what will make you the most happiest in life once you finally recieve it. Don't worry, I don't think I have ever experience love either, not even from my parents. So you are not alone.

your right parents never show love to their kids or to each other, they end up raising a lone wolf kid like myself.

I feel mixed on this. Its normal to feel like lots of couples are just together for the sake of being together or having someone to bang since then, romance isn't a part of it. But to diss the feeling completely and assume everyone who tries is wasting their time is a bit much. I say this because I have actually seriously cared about a few people to the point where I thought about them everyday and really appreciated their company. I didn't try to do that, I wasn't looking at all, but slowly and surely, it happened. The risk "can" bring about pain later of course but putting down everyone for trying isn't right in my opinion.

Its said to love yourself before you can love someone else and I believe that. Enjoying life and doing what you personally like comes first. But if you start to seriously fancy someone, not attempting anything for the sole reason of fear, previous experiences or dislike for affection is silly. Just maybe, it might be a good experience.

I sometimes too say "stupid little fools", but it's not because they;re in a relationship, and possibly in love, but just because I say that to many people. (:
