Is it normal to not like the elderly?

Is it normal to not like spending time with the elderly? And by that I include my grandparents and most people over the retirement age. I don't know if it's just a lack of shared interests, but I could never figure out how to share enjoyment with old people.

Sorry to say but our socierty today shuffles the elderly off to the home. Kids don't get to really know their grandparents. Back on the day, families lived and died together. We have made our lives sterile of the elderly. They have more knowledge and character.

So, to answer your question. I guess it is normal these days. Me, I like them. They have great stories.

Its because old people are so different, mainly because the world was different when they were younger.
