Is it normal to not like sluttiness but dont mind nakedness?

If I see a naked person I see nothing wrong with it. In fact I would support them not worrying about society's obsession with shame. However if I saw someone dressed in a skimpy outfit I think they look really slutty. Is this normal?

  • Nakedness does not necessarily mean sluttyness. Being naked could be art, pride, whatever. But when you be naked for the purpose of "asking for sex", now that's slutty. And when you get naked just to get attention and a self-esteem boost, that's just pathetic. Just a side note ;)

^^howaminotmyself said it pretty well. It's the difference in attitude... Someone can be nude and that's it, they're just not wearing clothes.

But sluttiness is a manner of presentation and behavior, advertising for the purpose of attracting sexual partners. I've always wondered say, why being topless or braless would be slutty for a woman, but it's ok to squish the boobs up in a bra that makes them look bigger and have them falling out of your shirt. Double standards need to stop, man.

I agree with the fact that behaviour definitely matters, when dealing with nudity.

"Slutty" outfits really depend on the point of view of some people.

Personally, i allow people to be people and if i don't agree with it, i simply don't associate with it.

i dont know. It just sounds like your contradicting yourself.Nakedness is not equal to lasciviousness. But Half-nakedness is? Why disregard one so called 'taboo' but not the other? Besides you can be fully dressed and green in the face, whilst also being sexually ravenous...

:O?! No. I like words. I don't feel like I should have to defend having learned my immediate lexicon.

but i can sound and type like a dumb bitch too. In which case I should tell you to choke on my sack. you offer me a useless personal attack. i hope this is not how you initiate a debate in real life. because that would mean your as useless as your words.
