Is it normal to not like people with tattoos
Just don’t see why everyone wants them so much!! I like my skin the way it is—Don’t need a design on it!!

I think it depends on where or what it is if it is trashy or not. How well it is done also makes a difference.
If it's some criminal type with a bunch of random doodles or gang signs then yeah it looks bad.
Face tattoos are the worst.
At the very least people should spend the money to get one professionally done instead of going to their buddy who does them in his garage for cheap.
The argument about what it will look like later in life - most of us look like hell the older we get anyways so what's the difference?
i have 3 tattoos, all have meaning and symbolism in them.. i think thats the beauty in it at least for me.. i never understood why people get tattoos just because they look cool or because they think they'll look like a badass because of them.. like i have a tattoo for my mom and one for my dad. those mean the world to me.. but then u see tattoos of like a pokemon or something and i just ask myself "Why?" /:
I'm in my sixties, so I grew up in a period when the only people with tattoos were circus freaks, sailors, and motorcycle gang members.
I don't hate people with tattoos, but having a lot of ink does colour my perception of the person. If the tattoos are obvious, I assume they're so shallow and insecure that they're desperate to appear different and unique to strangers. I'm also inclined to think they're pretty dim, since it's not difficult to discover that all tattoos look like crap twenty or thirty years down the line.
I have two tattoos. By the time I'm forty, I will probably have many more.
I also have just 2 and I thought I'd have dozens by the time I turned 40. I still only have these two (which had any real meaning to me). What do you have?
I got two butterflies wrapped in creepers and leaves on my left arm and 3 roses on my left hand. The butterflies I did them at a time when I was slowly getting up from a relationship that nearly shattered me (physically and emotionally) - the small girl turning into a woman. And the roses have no significant meaning. Just wanted to get it. If I ever got other tattoos it would be quotes from Angela Davis.
I don't personally want a tattoo, but I can appreciate them as art on another person. I love my boyfriend's tattoos. They're part of him. I love my friend's tattoos. They're beautifully done and have personal meaning to them.
Not my body, not my choice.
I have just one tattoo and it's in a place that most people never see, and it's very beautiful (it's not where you think). I went to one of the best artists in the country and I'm glad I did. 10 years later I still love it, and even if I get fat and wrinkly it's in a place that won't be affected by that so it's always going to look good.
It would be silly to dislike me purely because of that, but you have the right to your own opinion. Maybe you associate tattoos with someone in your past who was a dick?
Swick, you aren't who they're talking about.
There's tastefull. Then there's looking like your body was a scratch pad for random doodles.
I've seen people like that. I knew a girl with her own tattoo kit who started tattooing herself. I saw a wonky smiley face on her shin that was unfinished.
I asked her about it and she shrugged and said "I was just practicing. There's more like that on my feet and thighs, I'll get it right eventually."
I guess some people just don't give a fuck?
People have had tattoos for thousands of years, for all sorts of reasons. My sister got a tiny boat on her arm after travelling, everybody has their own reasons.
It's normal not to like tattoos. I myself think most of them look shitty.
However, it's stupid and not normal that you dislike the person just for putting ink under their skin.
Petty af.
It is very normal to not like an idiot who has had permanent ink injected into their flesh. There are always exceptions but generally tattoos are indicative of a member of the lower socioeconomic classes. The more tattoos the lower their class status. Certain tattoos also indicate who are the mentally ill among us and who belong to gangs where crime is the norm.
Most high-class folks shun that idiocy the low-class dregs and scum revel in.
Where I live plenty of rich folks have tattoos so I doubt it's a class thing.
I would say you'd be correct about previous generations, but not in the modern world.
Correlation between intelligence and tattoos? Maybe for some people. But I think there is no longer much link between class and tattoos. Things have changed a lot.
I have one tattoo on an upper arm so it's not visible unless I pull my sleeve up. I'm thinking of getting another tattoo in a more prominent place.
Always wanted a tattoo but wlnever took the time to get one.
I have pierceings but no tattoos even when I go to the shop.
I have four and if I could afford it I'd have more. None of them are stereotype tats and they all have personal meaning for me.
I find them interesting on other people but must admit I'm a bit over full sleeves and legs.
I've seen some great ones, especially on sailor jerry bottles.
But jailhouse, facial, doodle pad random,it's just.
Not me.
Those ear lugs are just as bad.
I think you're missing something if you think doing that to yourself is a good idea.
I'm free to my opinion.
Excess piercings and or tats.
I avoid you.
