Is it normal to not like nicknames
It just doesn't feel right calling someone by a nickname. I knew someone where everyone called him stevo, but I was the only one that actually called him steven. Does anyone else feel this way about nicknames?

I gave this question and I feel the same way with school classes ex. I always call my science class biology, when others abbreviate it to bio.
Just a matter of personal preference. I don't just love nicknames, I'm always the one who ends up creating them. I have a dog named odie: a baby bulldog. I startexvcalling him Todems Then Odems, then Todie, now after all that, we have Todie Odems! Little tote! Just has to rhyme do he doesn't get too confused ( I wonder if he likes it?)!
