Is it normal to not like holding hands with your partner?

I'm a girl. I love kisses and hugs, but when it comes to holding hands, it just feels really awkward and uncomfortable for me. I have no idea why! There are times when I don't mind it, but if we're walking together somewhere that's not exactly romantic (like at school), I don't want to be holding hands. I'm sure this is really unusual for a girl, lol.

    Totally normal, as a guy it bugs me when a girl is constantly trying to hold my hand at stores and school etc.

    Like you said sometimes it's fine, but mostly nahh.

    I try to hold...my gas but then I usually have a farting fit.

    i feel the same way, maybe its cause you don't want peoples looking at your relationship and judging it, especially if you know all the people around you, maybe you want to keep it on the "down low" even if your not ashamed as to who your in a relationship with, i love holding hands, but not around people i know for some reason, and I'm not ashamed of who I'm dating at all.

    Oh, that's ok. I can see that this may seem more of a statement (to others) than a caring gesture to/from you.
    Perfectly normal.
    Mind you, I hope you still hold hands sometimes when you want to?
