Well, me and my current boyfriend been dating for about 8 months now and i LOVE him but im not sure if im IN LOVE with him. He is sweet, nice, tall, & cute. Everything i want in a guy but if i was truly in love with him, i would think i would know. The guy i dated before him broke my heart. He was my first love and he took my virginity, so i wanted to know if im just being distant because im afraid of being hurt again or what ???

    Sounds to me like you're suffering from the last guy who broken your heart. You should move on from the slightest fear of it happening again. Yes the chance of it happening is always there but still. You'll feel stronger for it.

    "Sweet, nice, tall, and cute" You just described my husband, and his best friend, and my neighbor, and my coworker. Love goes deeper than that my friend. How does he make you feel about yourself? Can you be your true self without hiding? Do you make each other feel like a stronger person without sacrificing the core of your being?

    It is normal to be scared of love. I think most are afraid of it. Completely exposing your inner self to someone can be very difficult. Especially if you still trying to figure out who that is. When you find someone who just fits there, you won't have to analyze it, it will just be.

    Of the married couples I know, none of them are IN love 100% of the time. A lot of the time they feel nothing for each other.

    Being "in love" is work. It's a mindset that you constantly have to renew.
