I was at a party and I got pretty hammered, and this guy was there and we were on a bed in a hotel listening to music and then he got on me and started taking my clothes off..at first I was willing to mess around but not have sex..and as my pants came off I told him no..but he put my hands above my head and held them there..I didn't scream because it wasn't registering in my head..i didn't know what was happening..I only remember saying no and getting off the bed and he grabbed me and did it again for a couple minutes..and then I got off the bed and threatened him and made him take me home..he's been texting me asking if I want to hang out and I say no but I'm scared because he knows where I like..is that considered rape? what do I do?

    Yes, I'm really sorry but it is rape. You should sue him because it seems like he is obsessed with you too. You'll feel better afterwards if you phone the police.

    I just wanted to make a comment about any man or person talking about women being sluts or it not being rape when they drink. Not true, not even by a hair! You have no business here commenting on things you obviously have no idea about. Look up sexual assualt and rape or google it to find out what it is accroding to law. The three things required are these:::
    1. you both have to be of age to consent
    2. You both have to be able to perfrom the act
    3. There must be conset by both parties
    this is law like it or not!
    I want to reitterate this again for anyone confused!
    If you are asleep, drunk, unconcious, stoned, not able to get up and someone either touches you with their hands in a sexual manner, takes your cltohes off, inserts his fingers inside of you or penetrates you in the vagina, ass or mouth it is rape! If you are awake and have a relationship currently with him were past lovers or even had intercourse before, if the person says "no" to you it is rape! Pleasea consult your local sexual assault hotlines or google it for more information. It's not ok and its not your fault!

    you can be raped by an ex, you can be raped by a friend, you can be raped by a current boyfriend. If you are touched, pushed, cohearsed, penetrated while your awake, asleep or unconconcious it is rape. IF you say no it means stop according to the law. If you were asleep or drunk you did not give consent that is rape. Rape is an abuse of someones power of you that they think they have or could have. Im sorry hun it happened to me by an exboyfriend theres lots of good information out there on this topic. I send you hugs and positive energy.

    Just because you were intoxicated and confused does NOT mean what he did was okay. This is not your fault in any way.

    You were most definitely raped, and I would encourage you to file a police report. As someone who has been sexually assaulted, I can say that you will feel more empowered and more healing in the long run if you take action against the person who hurt you.
