Is it normal to not know if i love you

Well, I have been dating this girl for 5 and 1/2 months, and we say "I love you" to eachother. We are both sophmores in highschool. I'm really confused about it. What we have together is very natural, we never fight or anything like that. Whenever I say "I love you" to her it feels like i should be saying it. But when I am alone I thinn whether or not I actually love her! Do I or do I not. I am willing to reply to comments.

    It sounds to me that this is more 'puppy love' than real love and that's completely normal because the two of you are so young. It's to be expected that you won't truly love someone until you're old enough to fully understand love and all its implications. If you're wondering whether you love her or not, you probably don't- I'd guess it's more akin to a strong liking or infatuation/lust than love; it can be very difficult to differentiate between the three.

    I'm sort of emotionless, so I don't really understand "love", but think of it this way:
    *Does she add value to your life?
    *Do you have more fun with her than without?
    *Would you rather stay together than go back to how it was before or have her out of your life?

    If you answered yes to all 3, then surely you do "love" her.
