Is it normal to not know how to kiss?

You don't need tips, you need experience. Kissing is not a big deal. Tell him you've never kissed a guy, so if you suck, you have an excuse. Next time, don't turn away! You'll get better with time.

i was the same way. the first time i kissed my [now ex] boyfriend it was dark, i didnt know what i was doing, and i totally missed. its normal. andi aggree with heckyea10, you need experience, somethin i dont have. i agree with just about everything they said ;)

I know it sounds lame but practice on your hand. :) That's what I did when I was younger and it worked! And be sure to wear lots of chapstick and have nice soft lips all the time- if you do- guys will be so distracted by your soft lips they'll be kissing YOU and you can just follow their lead- match the movement of their lips with yours, pull away when they do, lean in when they do, you get the idea, just read their body language and adjust yourself to what theyre doing. PS- MANY guys are terrible kissers, and if they try to stick their tongues down your throat- or lick your whole face- it's because THEY are bad at kissing. Don't feel like you are doing anything wrong. And if they have a big mouth and accidentally cover your nostrils with their upper lip, its ok to pull away and catch your breath- you can even tell them not to be so aggressive, kissing should be fun not scary!

it's normal babe and don't worry so. figuring some of this stuff out is part of the fun of growing up. u'll learn what he likes and how to do it, he'll do the same just relax and have fun there is no such thing as normal

The first boy i kissed was in school with everyone around so there was pressure there.. to be alone is best.. relax and enjoy it! the first kiss is so different from the kisses you will have after.. just let it happen.. its somthing to enjoy.. :)
