Is it normal to not have any female singers/artists on my ipod?

I'm the same - and I'm a girl. Girls can sing but almost all of songs by women (solo or otherwise) are crap.
Male vocals are cooler and male bands/soloists make better music. End of story.

I hate female singers.

I think it's normal depending on what type of music you like

I actually like female voices more on average.. but maybe the sound of guys crooning is soothing for you.

weird but my brother has only femail singers on his and he is gay, he peferres girls because he thinks they have better voices. does that help??

Yeah, it's normal. But I listen to rap, and there isn't one single good female rapper. The only female music I have on my ipod is like Beyonce or Lady Gaga or groups with a female front singer like Portishead, etc. I mean, if it's singing, I like females. But I hardly ever listen to singing, I'm a rap fan, so it's mostly males for me.

I'm not a huge fan of female singers for some reason, but there are a few female voices that I really enjoy.

I would say 80% of the music I own is by male artists or bands with male vocalists.

me too. do u tend to sing along? even silently? if yes that's exactly the reason why, unless u easily hit female pitch. besides the lyrics suits u a lot more than female songs right?

Pretty much the same for me. I could probably count the number of female artists I like on both hands.... Perhaps even on just one hand. I don't think it's a disliking of female singing as much as it is song subject matter.
