I can't say I feel strongly enough either way to be pro-choice or anti-abortion. I've tried to look at every aspect and still I can't decide on a stance. IIN?
yes it is and some advice, Simply don't bother some things are best left to others.
And don't give me this "I'm pregnant, I can have an opinion" or "just because I'm a woman and CAN get pregnant im allowed to impose my values in everyone else" just let people make their own damn choices. A fetus isn't even sentient before the third trimester. But yeah, it probably has a soul. And yeah, you are destroying a life by doing it. But that right is reserved to the one bringing it into the world and then taken away after the second trimester, when the fetus technically becomes an infant. When it becomes able to feel what's being done. Which would be like burning alive in a vat of sulfuric acid. They fill the uteran cavity with a concentrated saline solution. And with the placenta vein permeable, it gets to the fetus and it's undeveloped skin and literally melts it into goop. It's a horrifying prospect and something most people who consider aborting choose to ignore. It's like how people that buy meat from the grocery store have no idea what exactly they are supporting.
Because to most of us, we are outsiders making judgements on a situation we wont ever be in. So it's absolutely pointless for us to weigh in on it. Has anyone here ever had an abortion? If like to hear what they have to say about it
It's a difficult subject. And you probably SHOULDNT have an opinion on it unless it directly effects you. Like u or ur wife/girl is pregnant and thinking of a shmamorshion.
I think its hypocrytical. I mean your mother chose not to abort you. So what makes you want to see someone elses child aborted. Just think of it this way "It could have been you". Would you say yes if you knew the baby was going to be you? I think Abortion is ok in the following cases
1.rape 2.When it will kill the mother otherwise (Rape sometimes ends up in the 2nd case. Like if you rape a very young girl who becomes pregnant. Sometimes she cant really give birth to the child without her or the kid dying)

If there's some way to know if its existence is its own or if its just a growth of cells in the carrier, then i guess the cut-off point between the two i could support. But i also tend to avoid having opinions of controversial things..
