Is it normal to not hang out

I have good friends at school and we talk when we are on playstation but we don't hardly hang out outside of school. The odd time I will go to a friends house or sometimes the movies or the park. But I prefer to stay home. I don't like to hang out that much... Is it normal?

    same here. well i like to hang out, but i'm not into partying, and that's what a lot of people my age are into.

    I have always been like that, I like going out, but would rather stay in as I can talk to people online, or over the phone if needed (I hate talking over the phone). Next week Im in the house all the time save for wednesday when I need to go shopping and am going to a pub quiz with aunts. Perfectly normal.

    I would say for this generation, it's pretty normal. Teens and kids are just plain lazy and don't do anything anymore that involves the outdoors, socializing, or communication (talking on the phone...OMG what's that?)
