Is it normal to not get paranoid when smoking weed if i am on my meds?

I used to have to take high doses of anti psychotics a few years ago and smoking weed was fine, I did not get paranoid while high, and i liked being high. I am off my meds now because I no longer have issues with paranoia, but if I smoke weed I get really freaked out and paranoid and cant be near anyone, so being high is no longer fun. I think its because the medication stopped what ever chemicals are released that causes paranoia when high on weed. Is it normal? do you think if i took some of the meds before getting high it would work?

    It could be because you stopped taking your medication or it could just be that you have changed. I used to smoke weed everyday for about a year and I never got paranoid. I tried a spliff a couple of months ago and I just freaked I thought it was a one off so I tried again and same thing... I know my case is nothing to do with meds cos I didn't then and still don't take any. I just think I changed.

    Ugh, don't even talk about paranoia on speed. I thought I was driving in a circle on the same road and I thought I was gonna be stuck in an infinite loop. Don't do speed, kids. XD

    Yes, i used to get fucking paranoid while mixing weed with some ritalin.. I hate that shit.

    dude just be paranoid or don't smoke it.
    it can be dangerous to auto medicate in this conditions

    Here's a better idea; stop with the drugs altogether. They will mess you upand are flat out gross.

    Yeah, you'd probably need your medicine to be able to smoke if that's happening. Makes sense, you're already prone to that side effect so you'd be more likely to be paranoid with weed

    I take antidepressants and smoke weed. It's the best high ever. Worst thin about it is that I gatta smoke huge bowls because a medium bowl doesn't do much >.>

    Well one of the side effects of smoking weed is paranoia. And if you used to take medication for it it prolly stopped you from feeling the extra paranoia from smoking. I'd imagine taking the meds again would stop it. If it worked last time. But it's your choice.

    My first time smoking was 5/8/11. I've never been more paranoid in my life. I was sniffing my clothes every five seconds!
