Is it normal to not flush pee o

I always flush and it's a source of huge guilt for me because of the amount of water I'm wasting. Water that has been treated, purified, and basically been made potable at huge expense.

Doesn't it seem unjust that I use expensively treated drinking water just to flush away pee and yet we can't even get it to parts of the world where people are dying of thirst?

Unless you are about to take a shit and it might splash on you, what's so gross about it.

We have less and less fresh water and all that, it doesn't hurt to save the planet a little.

Mind you, it's good to flush it once in a while still. Old pee really stinks.

It is kinda gross and I've seen people who will just never flush, but if you flush every couple pees it's fine, and it makes me feel better about my water consumption.

Yeah, water is constantly recycled, but think of everything that goes into purifying that water just so it can go in a toilet, fill up once, then go right back to water treatment. Seems silly, right?

i hear it from people on septic tank systems a lot. its more about how much water you are putting in the tank than about water conservation.

personally i dont want to sit down and poop and have someone elses pee splash up at me. but if you could all agree that anyone who has to poop may flush first (and afterwards ) as long as you dont flush just for pee, then you probably will still save lots of flushing throughout the day

I know people who do this, personally i wouldnt do it. How does flushing waste water? It is only soiled and need to be treated again, we're not wasting water but treatment.

If you flush it a few times a day it doesn't stink. I still don't flush every single time.

Its gonna stink up the bathroom

Its gonna splash if you are a guy. Further distance, greater potential energy, bigger splash.... And yes, it smells. When I went to Australia last year I discovered the Australian toilet with the full flush button and the half flush button. Neat. But here in the US most of us aren't that short on water.

It won't alleviate the grossness of it but I bet if you slip a Clorox toilet tablet in the tank you can reduce the smell.

It does save a he'll of a lot of water.
It is gross-- it takes a certain kind of person to do it regularly.
