Is it normal to not feel hungry when you're alone?

So basically, I don't feel hungry ever unless I'm around friends. I live alone, and on days that I am home alone, I don't eat anything at all. It's like, food for me is a social thing, but when alone, I just can't eat.. IIN?
I'm a 22 year old guy, by the way.

It could be that when you are with others you like you absolutely have to eat as if their presence somehow pressures you into doing it because eating is considered to be the norm.

I think it's normal. However, I tend to be least likely to eat around certain people. I don't think I'd ever really want to eat in front of friends or strangers or relatives. The only person I'm currently comfortable to eat with is my mother. My desire to eat more or less has anything to do with others, though. I guess it really depends on the situation.
