Is it normal to not feel envy??

I'm a 35yr old woman and my husband find it very unreal that I never felt the emotion that is ENVY. Now I'm being looked at like some freak chick but I really don't get some of my girlfriend's stories about other females being envious...I usually ask the "dumb" questions like "Why would she react that way"? Naturally they start to make fun of me cause I don't pickup on the fact that "she" was being envious. I don't make an apologies for not feeling envy towards anyone but I have to know if it's just me or is there anyone else who understand me.

    Hah! That's funny. I have almost the exact same post except it's called "IIN that I am incapable of feeling jealous?", and I go on to say in it that the only reason I'm even aware of it's existance is because of the things other people say and how they act. So yes! Apperently there are others! Everybody said you were normal though and I'm weird haha! But thats probably because in addition to materialistic things I have trouble feeling jealousy in relationships aswell. People for some reason go bonkers when they hear that and treat me like some freakshow. Don't know if your the same way but that difference might be a biggie.

    its healthy to be envious but not jealous. theres a difference.
