Is it normal to not feel anything when a girl tells me she loves me?

Hi.

So I have to admit I've become kind of a player. And I get a lot of girls tell me they love me and I just don't get any feeling at all.

It's as if it's just a normal sentence like any other I just don't feel special I don't feel good I just got so used to it I think that it doesn't matter to me anymore.

Is this normal? Have I really become so cold-hearted? What do you guys feel when a girl tells you she loves you?

Well if you don't love them back then you're not going to feel much when they say that to you. Simple.

This. You're not obligated to have feelings for whoever has feelings for you.

If a girl tells you she loves you within few weeks of you two meeting or after the first time you plow her, you're not the first she is telling this to and not the last, she just throw those words around and they are meaningless. I once slept with a woman about 3 hours after I met her and afterwards she told me she loved me, the funny part is that I actually believed her (I was 16 and dumb back then).

For a second I thought you were ItDuz.

Anyways, I think that you're aren't cold-hearted. Instead I think that you just love the girls who say they love you. As you said you're a player, that partially tells me that women are somewhat toys for you to play with. Until you're done being a player, that is find the right girl, why would you love a toy?

Lol, why did you think that OP was ItDuz? Because the topic dealt with women?

Oh, and I also second your last paragraph.

I thought it was him because the person was wondering if they were cold hearted, which i think is something that ITDuz questions about himself

Did he say that in a post? I don't think someone who makes the argument that "People who complain about men shouldn't use inventions created by men" would think himself cold-hearted.

I've read some of his comments, a lot of them actually, and his profile as well. He's a very apathetic guy, which he's told me he is very aware of and knows that he can be harsh at times with "the truth." I just thought that ItDuz got to the point of questioning his indifference to where he made a post about it. Plus, I sort of think that he could be a player if he really wanted to and maybe became one suddenly.

Also, just so you know where I stand on the guy, I don't hate him at all. I'm merely interested in his mentality, he reminds me of a friend I know in real life as odd as that sounds.

Personally, I don't think he'll ever question his indifference. I've also read a bunch of his posts, and I do remember him mentioning one time that while he technically could get a girlfriend, he doesn't because of laziness and a lack of interest.

As far as his mentality goes... the less I say about that the better. But no matter what I think about him, I'll always find it fascinating that he's practically the most famous user on this site, for good or for bad.

If you don't love them back, then most people, I imagine, would feel a pang of guilt or remorse, especially if they've been a 'player' and lead them on in some way.
