Is it normal to not care about losing friends

I recently started home school. I thought I had much more friends than I really do. I assumed my phone would still be flooded with calls and texts after I left, but its not. Only four or five people still talk to me. I barely hang out with anyone. I don't really care that I barely have any friends. They were awesome, but I don't care. Is that normal?

    Hopefully you have skills for how to keep in with friends for cases where you don't feel that way.

    I don't keep in touch with anyone, and I don't like not having any friends.

    If 4 or 5 people still hang out with you, you are doing well. That's a lot, especially given you are homeschooling.
