Im a girl and i dont brush my hair. I wash it every single day and it always looks neat. I dont roll around in my sleep and its almost perfect when i get out of bed. It looks way better when i dont brush it. Its about an inch past my shoulders and its not really curly just a little wavy. I dont see the point of brushing it when its not messy and clean.
Normal. I brush my hair a little as possible. Brushing breaks and damages your hair.
I have long hair and I don't brush unless I've just washed it, its fine, gives it a wavvy look

Your going to get nits even though you wash it because it's messy.
You should atleast brush it once a week or more.
I'm a guy and I agree with liiaaa3, i'd say its 100% normal. Especially with how short it is. My hair is almost to my mid back, and i don't brush. Although i probably should. its starting to get knotty as well.
Do you have alot of hair?
I'm pretty sure most girls do this although I have to brush mine because it's so long and it gets too knotty.
