    It's normal to think that. I used to have doubts, too. But then I fell in love and was overcome with so many wonderful feelings and emotions that I'd never experienced before and I couldn't name and I just knew that it was love. I'd do anything for him and hurting him is the last thing that I ever want to do. Spending time with him is my favorite thing and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. The best part? He feels the same way about me. To me, that is love. :)

    If you've never experienced love then it's understandable that you don't believe it real . But when you do feel and experience it , you'll know that it's one of the most real things out there . It truly is amazing . And If you've been broken hearted , itis not love itself that sucks , it's the pain and rejection that can come after .

      I disagree. Love is whatever people think it is. It's an abstraction. An ultimately meaningless illusion.

      True, one's definition of love will almost certainly change as they mature, but to say that someone isn't in love because their definition doesn't match yours is absurd.

        I agree but most of what people think is love is the same as the others and the way people love is also the same as most of the others in life.

    True love is elusive.

    You don't have to believe in it, just don't deny other people from experiencing it. That's like saying everyone should like chocolate because you do.

    Tabibushua- Why so bitter. You use many words to describe how "love" can be measured in the body but fail to realize it creates something else entirely. Sometimes people "click". True love cannot be measured with tools and instruments. It is a force to be reckoned with and mocks the futile attempts of harnessing. If you want none of it, stop trying so hard to define it.

    Careing more about anouther person more than yourself, honestly being a scientist i wish i could agree with you but i love anouther person who im not with anymore but i still would willingly give up anything in my life just to make them happy, before you call me soppy or anything understand i dont care about anyone else in my life including family either but this one person i would give my life for. Love does exist, it might be a chemical reaction in the brain but in perspective so is everything else that you feel.
