Is it normal to not believe in equality?

There's no such thing as equality. People don't even WANT equality. The world would be a terrible place if there WAS equality.

    Equality of opportunity, I do believe in.

    Total equality is physically and mentally impossible, all people have different abilities.

    Depends on what equality means. Does it mean giving everyone the same chances in life? Does it mean giving everyone the same amount of money? Does it mean giving everyone the same food regardless of whether they even want it, at the expense of freedom or choice? Does it mean engineering diets and having surgery to make everyone physically identical? Do the people at the top who make the rules have to comply and is that not a paradox regardless, making total anarchy the purest form of equality?

    What I'm trying to say is that I think most people believe in equality, but most people can't agree on what equality is.

    I also think that there can never be total equality. Not because it's "against human nature", whatever that even means, but because nobody even knows what it actually means or how to get there. We can only get very close.

    Depends.
    I believe in equal rights and equal responsibilities (within reasonable limits, like say, being exempt from signing for the draft due to a disability). Just because someone may not be intelligent enough to form a rounded opinion does not mean that they should lose their right to share that opinion.

    I think we need to draw the line between rights and privileges. OK, we can agree that healthcare is a right, but is transportation a right? Is everyone entitled to it, or is it their responsibility to provide it/seek it for themselves?

    Regardless of disagreements regarding what is and isn't a right, if it is a right, it should be shared equally. A government that has the ability to decide who is and isn't superior and grants them rights based upon that superiority or lack thereof is a government with far too much room for corruption and ultimately, control.

    Do I believe everyone is, in every sense, equal? No, certainly not. I do not see myself as, physically, equal to a guy like Chuck Norris nor do I see myself as intellectually equal to my physician. Regardless, I believe everyone starts off as deserving of equal rights.

    Incorrect. All men are not created equal. Their "Creator" was their mother (and father). Life and Liberty can, and often does become alienated, surrendered or transferred.
    Sorry to all the females (in the United States of America), you are still the property of the British Crown.
