Is it normal to not believe in acquired tastes??

Hiya,

I've always thought the idea of acquired taste is a bit strange.

If you have to acquire a taste for something -- music, films, food/drink, etc, as in not liking it when you first hear/watch/taste it, I've always thought that means it's not right for you. What do you think ??

It's not really debatable, acquired taste does exist, nobody likes beer when they are like 12 but after drinking it for a few years you really do start to love the taste.

You adjust to things and your perception of things can change. I see where youre coming from, but things grow on me. Keep an open mind to things, it can creep up on you Haha

I think some things you have to get used to...like milk. If I switch my milk to fat free I won't like it as much as 2% milk but after a while I'll like it more than the 2% and end up hating 2%.
