Is it normal to not be horny during period but feel like you should be

I feel like I should be super horny during my period but I'm not. I always hear "Period sex relieves cramps and migraines" but it doesn't seem to be enough to get me to that place and I hear other women saying they are super horny during this time of month. It's not like I don't want to be but it's like, when I'm feeling this crappy, the last thing on my mind is boinking, is that normal? How could I help with this problem? I want to be close with my man but feel gross.

    Is it normal to BE horny during periods? It's gross, messy, cramps and boobs too sore to be touched, why bother? Why would anyone want to? Ughhh no my vagina is off limits during that week .

    There are no "shoulds" regarding the female hormonal cycle! Some of us are horniest during our period and some not, ditto ovulation although of course women on hormonal birth control don't ovulate.

    Some of us older post-menopausal women who have little or not hormonal fluctuations are horny at quite unpredictable and sometimes inconvenient times.

    Don't stress about it, go with the flow or not, as the case may be (sorry about the bad pun, I couldn't resist it).

    Everyone is different and I am sure that women all have a different feeling and approach, when they are having their Periods. I have never had a Period because I am only a pretend woman, a crossdresser so I can't add much to your question. Sorry about that but I think you are as normal as could ever be. You are also lucky, simply because you are a real woman. I would just love to be one.

    I had sex 1 time whilst on my period. It is messy and gross. I don't think you not be horny is abnormal. Everyone is different.
