Is it normal to not be attracted to other races?

Hello there!

I'm a young Caucasian (white) female and am wondering if not finding other races (e.g. black, Asian) attractive (for dating and sexual relations) is normal.

I am friendly with all races, and have a few close friends who are not white, but when it comes to the opposite sex, I simply cannot be attracted to someone who isn't white.

Is this normal or am I racist somehow?

    I could be attracted to any race. That doesn't make me a better person. It just gives me more options, lol. Don't worry, you don't sound racist. It's often called a preference.

    It's normal. I'm 100% white also, and I only like white and Hispanic men (however this is more rare.) As for Hispanic men I'm usually into like... long-haired, classy types.

    yes it is normal. We are usually attracted to what is the most familiar. If you grew up with mostly whites it makes sense then. I myself am not usually attracted to other races, unless if their apperance was somehow similar to that of my culture in terms of hair and clothing style.

    no it's not racist i wouldn't date a black guy either because i'm just not attracted to them and i'm black.it's just what you are attracted to that's all that matter. as long as you're friendly to other races than it's oke :)

    To the white girl that started this post, totally normal. I'm sort of the opposite, I'm Indian and I'm rarely attracted to my own kind because it feels like incest, despite the fact that some of our women can be stunning.

    I'm primarily attracted to and have dated white girls-also like asians, south american and middle-eastern women (non-religious). Some of them are racist against us, I don't really give a fuck, I date the ones that aren't. :)

      now to sound like a total hypocrite, I find some Arab women attractive, only the non-muslim ones, there I covered myself.

    Same here. I've developed slight crushes on my friends of other races but no matter what I'm just not attracted to them haha. Perfectly normal :P
