My friend's boyfriend doesn't let her drink mojitos. She's legal age and drinks other things like beer, crystal palace, even other types of drinks that have rum in it. I've never had a boyfriend so I don't know if it's normal to have rules like this, is it?
She probably got shit faced and made an ass of him the last time she drank mojitos. so he blamed the behavior on that type of drink rather than that type of girl.
This makes perfect sense. If he was being controlling it would probablly be about more stuff than one type of booze. On a side note I don't think its normal for people to control each other. People who are controlling are usually doing that because their insecure and feel they can't control themselves so they take it out on other people.

And I don't think her bf should control her...
Does he actually stop her or does she LET him stop her?

It's not normal that he's that controlling. She should have freedom with her choice of drink.
