Is it normal to not be allowed to drink at 21 years old

I live at home still and I am REFUSED to drink. If I would ever buy alcohol, I would lose EVERYTHING. Occassionally, once every month or two, I am allowed to have a margarita when we go out to eat. I think it's bull crap. Most girls my age are out drinking, f**king and sucking. Not me.

Most girls your age are also not still leeching off of their parents. Maybe it's time to grow some ambition, or at least some shame. Drinking is for big boys and girls to cut loose and relieve stress. It's pretty tough to build stress when you're still getting your ass wiped for you.

maybe just move out, or just do it anyway, what would u have to lose since ur living with them anyway, sounds like bull poop to me, my parents were strict but the moment i turned 18 i was aloud to drink an go clubbing, i wasnt fucking or sucking as u so nicely put it, i went out with a few gfs an let my hair down after work an shit. but i always respected my parents as i was living with them, if i came home late (not from fucking and sucking) i was extra quiet an not wake them.

      6pm!?! wow...

It's a shame your parents have no faith at all in their own parenting of you that they don't trust you at all.

      :/

18 is the legal age to drink, its your choice if you want to or not, if the people you living with don't like it, you might have to respect their wishes, but legally you are allowed to go out or to friends and have a few drinks

Actually, 21 is the legal drinking age in the US. I don't know about anywhere else.

Haha my mum was always easy going when it came to drinking, she used to buy me 2 cans or 4 bottles of beer every friday and saturday when i was about 13/14.

You live with your parents. Some parents are controlling and ridiculous. Losing everything over a drink? Have they threatened you? Are you in college? I suggest you live in a dorm, than you could drink without having something breathe down your neck.
