Is it normal to not be able to move when you wake up?

Sometimes, when I wake up in the morning, and then am almost falling asleep again, I suddenly get his ringing in my ears and shivering feeling, and then I can't move any part of my body. It lasts about a minute I think but I'm not really sure, and sometimes I have bouts of it where it just keeps happening again and again.... I don't think I'm dreaming because i can feel my bed under me. The first time it was really scary and i almost started crying because I didn't know what was happening, I felt paralyzed! Has this ever happened to anyone?

My thoughts exactly. If that's what it is, then there's no reason to be scared of it, that I can think of. I kind of want to try it myself sometime.

Sounds pretty scary to me though. I would hate that.

To someone who has no idea what's happening to them, yeah, I can see it being scary. But it's supposed to be just as easy to get out of it as it is to get into it. Kind of like.... your leg falling "asleep", but your whole body.

That's understandable. Lucid dreaming and astral travelling are an asston better anyways. xD

Sleep paralysis is perfectly normal, relax and ride it out and it can actually be a very pleasant experience

It's called Jin disturbance in Islam. Jins are creations of Allah (The One God), just like humans and angels. They live in a parallel world and able to disturb humans sometimes. Google it.

studied this in psychology. Its sleep paralysis. Basically being concious in a hypnagogic state. When we sleep our bodies produce chemicals that paralyze us so we don't act out our dreams. its normal

Achieving this state while awake is part of an astral projection method.

Sounds like you should eat more bread. It makes your poop and your knob thicker and more wholesome.
