Is it normal to not be able to get a sixpack??

I cant get a six pack idk if im doing something wrong or if theres just something wrong with me. Every other day before i go to bed i work out my abs about 10-30min using different and various positions. EVERYTIME im done, im hot and sweating and out of breath, but my abs dont hurt at all. And as they say no pain no gain and i feel like im not working my abs out. One thing that does hurt though Everytime i work out is my neck. I looked up several times how to do sit ups and crunches and i try but i never get any results. Please can someone help me cause im Really skinny too so if i was improving i should show faster then heavier people. I just really need atleast an outline of a six pack so please help :c

    Its all diet - 6 pack is all diet. Your muscles are there, they are just underneath... trust me

    The more u work ur abs the more ur muscle builds muscle memory to finish the work while burning least amount of calories change it up use weights and workout to get stronger not to look good looking good is a bounus

    1. Don't exercise before bed.
    2. Do multiple sets on a general weekly schedule and don't try to target zones (eg: Exercise your WHOLE body).
    3. Realize that it takes a while to go from Michael Cera to Hugh Jackman.
    4. Stop watching Insanity! and P90X infomercials.
    5. Stick to a healthy, muscle building diet.
    6. Focus on being so fit you can kill a man with your pinkie, not being so ripped you can "act" in an adult film.

    i thought you mean a six pack of beer.. Just do sit ups as fast as you in one postion dont stop until u feel da burn

    Also try push-ups with straight back, on your toes and tense your stomach muscles. That works for a friend of mine. Its apparently very hard though!

    You have to activate your core! It's all about the core.

    If you're having a lot of trouble you can probably get a personal trainer for one session that will shwo you what you're doing wrong. If you really want a six pack, the price of a trainer would be minimal for the results it'll provide.

    this is simple. u are straining ur neck and not using ur abs when u do ur crunches. i had this problem before. but the proper way to do a basic crunch is 2 relax ur neck and look straight up at the ceiling when u do these never curl ur neck. and flex ur ab muscle. if u cant go up all the way .then its ok. dont break ur form since ur skinny u get abs in no time:p
