Is it normal to not be able to cry?

I haven't been able to cry for over 6 months. I'm usually the type of person who cries fairly often, but now I can't. No matter how much I want to cry, I can't. It's like I'm numb, like I'm some emotionless robot. And nothing traumatic happened, so I don't get it.

Oh I said not normal because I thought it was a tear duct problem. I noted once that it had been months since I cried and it is normal. I think perhaps you just got tired of crying.

But I'm not. I've never been more miserable in my life.

        Probably depression then.

A lot of people suffering from depression feel numb, detached, joyless.
