Is it normal to never work in your life, ever?
My aunt is now 50 years old and today, I think I lost all respect for her.
She never worked. She literally told me that she never held a part time job, never went to college, dropped out of high school at grade 10 and then rejoined it a year later after taking a break..then finally finished it at age 20.
She never did a thing in her life and for years she has told me "when we went to disney land..when we went to germany..when we went to ireland.."
I assumed she worked hard for it, but apparently her husband was their sole provider and STILL IS. She told me he never had a year off of work and he wont retire until hes in his 70s because they can't afford it.
IIN?
I get annoyed just thinking about how she had 30 years of pure vacation and relaxation while I'm only in my 20s and I work 8 hours 5 days a week and even during high school I worked part time...Why don't I get a vacation? I just don't get how its normal to have 30 years AND more of relaxation. Why does it make me feel so sad? I know I'll never have that but I don't like to feel so sad. :(
is it normal she got all these years off? Hes not a lawyer btw, he was in military and then afterwards, he joined a small company and has worked for them ever since fulltime.
