Is it normal to never miss anyone?

Its normal not to miss people your around all of the time. You see them everyday and just assume they are always going to be there. Just remember that they are not always going to be there.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to comment anyway. I feel the exact same way. It bothers me because others around me (like my girlfriend) will say they miss me and I feel obligated to say it back but I don't actually miss her. It's not that I don't care for her any less, I just don't miss people. I only miss people if they are actually gone and not coming back. Maybe it is that reason I don't miss people, I know they are still around they just aren't here right now.
It just really bothers me that if I tell people I never miss people I am automatically assumed to be cold hearted or emotionless. Those people assume that missing people is something that EVERYONE experiences and don't realize we aren't all the same.

I don't miss people either. I assume we all have lives to live and people are busy. I also assume I'm extreamly unemotional

well well I thought i was the only alien around here joke :P , ya know i never ever actually missed anyone and was "alienated" to the feeling of missing someone, its pretty normal i think cause its normal for mee except in the past year where I was close to someone and started to find out what actually missing someone feels like. For me it was a sad longing feeling. it was weird at the start but i just got used to it :/

I dont really miss people either, i left school like 2 weeks ago and people are already moaning about how much they miss each other.....i mean i dnt miss my dad and i aint seen him for like 4 weeks...

Maybe you don't have any feelings, you know like you are a logical person. I'm sure you will miss them when you will never be able to see them again.
