Is it normal to never dream about sex?

I never have sex in my dreams. Back when I was a virgin, I thought it was because I didn't know what sex was like. But I've been doing it for several years now, and I still never dream about it.

Every now and then when I realize I'm dreaming, I try and make myself have sex in the dream. But it is either interrupted by something or I wake up. The only times I've ever had sex in a dream they were rapes.

I don't think this is normal, but I talked to one of my girl friends about it, and she said it was the same for her. Is anyone else like this?

That's not usually my top priority when I'm sleeping and away in dreamland, so no, I'm not like that.

Why are you so anxious to have sex in your dreams?

I'm a chick, not a guy. So no, I don't just want to dream about having a bigger dick.

I probably should have mentioned my gender in the question. This may be an issue in which the sexes are different. Like, maybe women don't typically dream of sex as often.

It's not that I'm anxious to have sex in my dreams. But sex is enjoyable, so why wouldn't I want to have it? I usually don't realize that I'm dreaming during a dream, so rarely do I actually make an effort to make it happen. I just think it's strange that when I do, it never works.

I've heard a lot about sex dreams and people say they're normal, so I'm just wondering if it's normal not to be able to have sex dreams as well.

Yeah, I suppose. And in dreams you can do whatever you want...I get it.

I can't really dream lucidly (when you realise that you're dreaming and can control it to some extent), so I've never tried turning a dream into something sexual, but I don't think there's anything wrong with the fact that when you've tried, it hasn't worked out - it's probably a case of dreams having a life of their own. By the way, you should consider yourself lucky that you have lucid dreams sometimes. Some people actively train themselves to be able to do that :)

Sex dreams are normal, but the content and the frequency probably varies much from person to person. Don't worry about it. Perhaps you could look more into lucid dreaming so that you can gain more control over them. Maybe then, you'll be able to have the sex of your dreams. Okay, that really was corny, sorry!

I've had a few sex dreams, but they only account for around 5%% of all of my dreams. Of the ones that I remember anyway.

Trying to make yourself dream about sex, is rather pointless. I myself, have never dreamed about sex. My dreams are always rather symbolic to issues occurring in the world, my life, friends. Don't know why, but God has blessed my mom and I with intuition.
